Kitchen-garden planner for iPhone, Apple Watch and widgets
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Plentia ("Plentia", the "App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. Plentia is a gardening companion that helps you plan and track the care of your plants, beds, and greenhouse.
The App is provided by Anton Razguliaev, Individual Entrepreneur ("we"), registered in the Republic of Armenia (state registration number 286.1580989, taxpayer ID (TIN) 20286933).
Short version: Plentia is built to work almost entirely on your device. We do not operate accounts or our own servers, and we do not sell your data or share it with data brokers. We do not advertise inside the App, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. One third-party service is used, and only for subscriptions — named and described in section 2a. What leaves your device: your approximate location, sent to a weather service (Apple, or MET Norway if Apple's is unavailable); and your purchases, handled by Apple and recorded by Adapty. Your garden itself — beds, plants, diary and photos — stays on your device and in your own iCloud.
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Plentia app for iPhone, its widgets, and the companion Apple Watch app.
To be clear about what Plentia does not do, we do not:
Plentia uses one third-party service.
started, and whether a renewal succeeded. Payment is handled entirely by
Apple; Adapty never sees your card, and neither do we.
No advertising or attribution. Earlier versions of this policy described two
further SDKs — AppsFlyer for install measurement and Meta's SDK for advert
attribution. Both have been removed from the App. Nothing in Plentia reads the
advertising identifier, nothing measures which advert brought you here, and the
App does not ask for permission to track you, because it has no use for it.
What Adapty is told. Opening a paywall, starting a purchase, starting a
trial, and whether a purchase completed, failed or was restored. Nothing about
your beds, your diary, your photos, or where your garden is.
The App stores the following information locally on your device (using Apple's on-device storage and a shared app group container). This data is under your control and is removed when you delete the App:
We do not have access to any of this on-device data.
If you grant permission, Plentia uses your device location ("While Using the App" only) to:
How location is handled:
api.met.no, so that weather still works. Only the coordinates (rounded to about one kilometre) and an identifier for the App are sent — no account, device identifier, or garden data. MET Norway's use of that request is governed by their own privacy policy.Weather data is provided by Apple Weather, or by MET Norway when Apple's service is unavailable; each forecast is labelled in the App with the source it came from. Learn more at Apple's Weather and privacy resources, and at met.no.
Plentia can send local notifications (scheduled on your device) to remind you about upcoming plant-care tasks. These reminders are generated on-device; the App does not use remote/push notifications and does not send notification content to any server. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings or within the App.
The Plentia widget and Apple Watch app read a small "today's tasks" snapshot shared on your device via an Apple App Group. The iPhone and Apple Watch communicate directly with each other using Apple's on-device connectivity; this data does not pass through our servers.
Plentia may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details or billing information — Apple handles the transaction and only provides us with the information needed to confirm your purchase status. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds are managed through your Apple ID account settings and are subject to Apple's terms.
The App may include links (for example, weather attribution, our Terms of Use, and this Privacy Policy) that open in your browser. Once you leave the App, the privacy practices of the destination website apply. This policy does not cover third-party websites.
Plentia is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal data on our servers, no such information is transmitted to us.
Your data lives on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You can delete individual items within the App, and you can remove all app data by deleting the App from your device. Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, there is no separate server-side deletion request needed.
Your data is protected by the security features of your Apple device and operating system, including device-level encryption when enabled. Because your data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers, the primary safeguard is the security of your own device (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and iOS protections).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Because Plentia stores your data on your own device and we do not hold it on servers, you can exercise these rights directly by viewing, editing, or deleting your data within the App or by deleting the App. If you have questions, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version. Significant changes will be reflected in the App or on our website.
